9 Budget-friendly water villas in Thailand for your next getaway
We all have those days when we’re stuck in traffic and all you’re dreaming about is going for a beach holiday in the Maldives. Think about how good it’s going to feel when you’re awaken by the sound of the waves rather than your alarm. Truth is, we all know that Maldives can be a little bit too pricey to travel to but guess what? There are overwater villas just right around the corner 😉!

Thailand is known for its amazing beaches and they’ve now stepped up their game with these amazing overwater villas! 😍 Comfortable rooms, exciting activities and breathtaking views – these villas offer value for money. So, let’s get started 😉
Note: Prices of the accommodations are based on Agoda search for the period of July to October 2018, 2 pax. Most of these accommodations are based on secluded areas of Thailand where Halal food can be scarce. Some accommodations are able to provide halal or vegetarian/seafood diets upon request. Do make enquiries with the specific accommodations before booking!

1. Float House River Kwai
A legit flotel which is also known as float hotel, the entire hotel floats on River Kwai! Guests love this flotel for its decor, which has been tailored with the luxurious yet traditional teakwood. The only way to get onto this flotel is via their long boat, which gives you a hint of how exclusive it is being secluded away from everything else 😍

Each room has its own private balcony and an open-air deck! If you’re coming in a large group, you may also request for adjoining rooms. The thought of sleeping with all your loved ones around you while listening to the river flowing sounds good to me.

Some of the things to try here includes the Lawa Cave, mountain biking, bamboo rafting, and canoeing! 😄
